Touring eastern Thailand takes you to popular destinations such as Pattaya. There are two routes, one travelling down the coastal regions of Chon Buri and Sattahip, the other near the border with Cambodia at Aranyaprathet. From Bankok you travel to Chachoengsao junction and then the line deviates north and then east or south on the Pattaya line. Pattaya has a main station to the east of the city and futher on to the southern city area, Pattaya Tai. There is only a weekday third class service available and taking a bus to Pattaya would be a more comfortable option. At the end of the line there is Ban Plu Ta Luang and Sattahip to the west on the coast which is a naval area.
