Big Buddha Hill overlooks all of Pattaya and is also known as Luang Phor Yhai in Thai. The image of the Buddha is a huge 18 meters tall. The temple nearby is Wat Phra Khao Yai. Each of the balustrades on the long staircase leading up to the Buddha image has a dragon with seven serpent creatures called Nagas protruding from the dragons mouth. Nagas originate from Buddhist and Hindu mythology.
There is no entrance fee but a donation and it is open every day.
